Hello, my name is Kim Cluchey and I am a Team Lead for Graphic Design with Hubbell, a company that designs, manufactures and sells electrical and electronic products for non-residential and residential construction, industrial and utility applications. I’ve been with Hubbell for a little over six months. Before Hubbell, I was with Abstrakt Marketing Group which is a B2B lead generation company. With my time at Hubbell and Abstrakt, I have been able to combine my work experience with the theories and real world examples discussed in classes.
I work to create innovative solutions that inspire, and foster memorable relationships between brands and their clients. With a focus on branding and Marketing, I strive to create usable and polished products through passionate and deliberate design.
I received my Bachelors of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from Maryville University and I am now working towards my Master of Arts Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing at the University of Missouri-St. Louis. I will graduate in the Fall of 2023.
Let’s get personal! I married my wonderful husband a few years ago and we live in a cute little house in South City, St. Louis. We enjoy Mexican food on the regular and chocolate ice cream on the weekends.
After work, I enjoy bike riding, gardening, reading about the latest design trends and I always have a leadership book that I’m working through. This quarter’s book is titled, “Why Should Anyone Be Led By You?” by Rob Goffee and Gareth Jones. This book explores what it takes to be an authentic leader. One of my passions outside of design is health and fitness.
In order to put forth my very best each day, I believe the work begins in the kitchen. I’m one of “those people” who meal prep, make protein balls and I’m always exploring new recipes – my husband is always so thrilled (Cue his eye roll). My fitness routine includes high-intensity interval training, yoga and long walks around one of St. Louis’s many parks and trails.
Oh, I also enjoy massive amounts of chocolate in a variety of forms!
